Pastor Keith D. Wright began his Corporate career in 1972 at a time when African Americans were relatively new to the corporate world. Throughout his journey he has is learned firsthand about the strength and dominance of the corporation and its impacts on employees.
Wright survived the lessons and became recognized for his leadership and mentoring qualities through leading organizations, developing strong teams and delivering homeownership products and technology services in communities around the country. During his tenure Wright held a variety of positions with responsibilities for operations, human resources, business integration, technology, budgeting, communications, fundraising and program development.
A native of New Jersey, Wright has held several civic and community positions, including serving as Chair of the Economic Development Corporation, Chair of the YMCA Capital Campaign, Chair of the Mayor’s Community Development Corporation and the Parking Commission for the City of East Orange N.J.
Pastor Wright holds a Ph.D. in Theology from NEWBURGH Theological Seminary; A Masters of General Administration from Univ. Of MD, a BA. in History from Rutgers (where he published History of Jazz in Newark 1938-1970 as an undergraduate student) and He attended Harvard’s Program for Management Development.
Wright’s greatest joy has been in realizing the birth of HE IS SOVEREIGN MINISTRIES in the earth for such a time as this. After being ordained in October 2009, the vision of HE IS SOVEREIGN MINISTRIES was revealed to Pastor Wright and the Ministry held its first service on April 4, 2010 in his home. Pastor Wright is married to the lovely Lady Eureka A. Wright and has three adult children Keisha, Keith and Khalid and four precious grandchildren, Blair, Sonya, Jeremiah and Noah.
