The preceding chapters in this volume tell the tale of God’s grace that is available for each of His redeemed. In a world where both light and darkness coexist, ordeals can be tremendous from one day to the next. When a man stands straight-faced to his trials, it is for the good of him that a fashioned-vessel might be prepared for the glory which is to follow. We learn through process and faith that the circumcision of the heart is for the benefit of Christ-likeness. Consequently, there will always remain a reason as to why bad things happen to good people. Through the precious workings of the Holy Spirit, we are a people who have become affiliated with hope in an evil day. The discussions in these paragraphs both begin and end with the realism of how harsh the night seasons can be which the Lord brings to the foyers of authentic men and women of God. In addition, all men everywhere are encouraged not to trust in their own understanding on the grounds of trying to piece together the unfairness of diverse situations. Undoubtedly, faith is the best sphere to move about in, when those of a man’s own household lift-up their own heel against him. In continuance, it’s important that a person’s beliefs are rooted and grounded in both the work of the cross at Calvary and in the standard of the transparent and unadulterated Holy Scriptures. Aware that our every intention is closely examined by the Lord, there is a sect (a people within a people), that have found their prestige in the scourge of circumstances from strength to strength and from glory to glory.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” Romans 8:18.
