One objective of this
book is to set forth an interest in the significance of the Book of Psalms in
the lives of God’s people. Fifteen psalms were chosen in order to address the
“then” as well as the “now.” In this study, the Egyptian Hallel Psalms (113-118)
are included since Jesus and His disciples sang these psalms during the
Passover Meal. Psalm 114 (Chapters 4 and 5) explores the philosophy of atheism
versus biblical theism. Four chapters (16-19) are devoted to the Book of
Revelation. These chapters deal with foundational studies, which in-depth
studies are essential to a correct interpretation of this book. For instance:
(1) the date of the Book of Revelation, (2) the identity and character of the
beast, (3) a new heaven and a new earth, and (4) the last days. Finally, the
last four chapters focus upon two abused texts. Chapters 20-22 study the Greek
text of Hebrews 13:17 in order to pinpoint more clearly the meaning of the
author. The final chapter examines the phrase “if we deliberately keep on sinning.”
