“Deliverance Ministry is a very complex ministry and one that it is very real. The world has
led even the Church into the mindset that deliverance is about theatrics and gimmicks. The
image of a monstrous, behorned, red-eyed animal figure attacking Christians is not
consistent with the clear teachings of the Bible. This book (based on the author’s research)
will serve as a reference that reveals the truth against various myths about deliverance that
are widespread in the Church. It will help those who are called to Deliverance Ministry
understand what can be done to stop the activities of the devil in the lives of God’s people.
This work is not hypothetical in its nature; it is actuality confirmed by the truth of the Word
of God. Scripture contains many references to deliverance.

Deliverance Ministry has been harmed by many who have intentionally incited fear and
paranoia in people to render the Church powerless. Knowledge is power, however, and
spiritual truths should be taught and practiced from the inception of Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior in the Church. This gives the Body of Christ an accurate picture of the victory that
Jesus won on the cross.”
DR. DEBORAH W. NELSON is a widow after 28 years of marriage,
and a retired Communications Technician after 30 years of
service. The mother of two daughters and four beautiful
grand-daughters. Dr. Nelson was saved in 1993, and called into
ministry in 1997 at which time she started her studies at the
National Bible College. Dr. Deborah Nelson’s vision is to
minister both nationally and internationally enhancing the
lives of the people of God through an empowering ministry of
missionary servants. This led to the birth of the “International
Alliance Ministry of Servants (IAM’S).”
Dr. Nelson is the Founder, President and Senior Servant of
IAM’S a ministry of servants called and committed to the
mission fields of the world, IAM’S was established and
incorporated in 2006, and as a result has formed Missionary
Teams and traveled to Kenya, East Africa, to empower Bishops,
Pastors, men, women and orphaned children in the Village of Taita Hills, Ngambwa and
Mombasa. The work of the ministry is IAM’S, however the results of the mission belong to the
Lord God. The love and commitment to building an orphanage for 150 children in Taita Hills,
the feeding and clothing of the orphans is the ministry of IAM\'S by the love and grace of God.
Dr. Nelson is on the faculty of National Bible College / Seminary, and has earned her
Doctoral Degree of Ministry in June 2009, Master of Divinity in June 2005, Master of
Theological Studies in June 2003, Bachelor of Theology in May 2001, Associate of Theological
Studies in May of 1999, Ministerial Internship Program Certificate in May of 1998 from the
National Bible College / Seminary located in Ft. Washington, MD.
