Author Faith Cay shares a true story of abuse survival in The Little Girl That Could: A True Story Of A Little Girl Surviving Challenges Of Verbal, Physical And Sexual Abuse Moving From A Toddler Through Adulthood ($15.99, paperback, 9798868510588; $7.99, e-book, 9798868510595).
A little girl was born to a woman who abused her throughout childhood. The same child ended up making poor decisions and relationship connections throughout her adolescence and adult life, ending up devalued by those people the same as she was devalued by her mother. Through it all, however, she had a guiding light, and when she was ready to reach out, it was ready to guide her to healing and success.
"It is okay to reach out and ask for help from trusted others. Most importantly, to trust God and trust the process of healing. It is possible,” said Cay.
Faith Cay is an author who brings to her readers the true experiences of real survivorship. She has always wanted to help others to find the best version of themselves since she was a teenager. She has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling and Education. Cay has spent over 15 years helping others be successful through mental health challenges, moving others from victim to survivor.
