Malisha D Jones was born in High Point, North Carolina, primarily raised by her paternal grandmother in Rocky Mount. She holds an undergraduate degree at Winston-Salem State University in nursing, an MBA from University of Phoenix and a postgraduate certificate from University of Phoenix. Jones worked as a civilian nurse for about 6 months. Then, she joined the United States Air Force in 2001, serving in United States Air Force in North Carolina for 13 years, 10 months and 12 days. She has been a nurse for more than 20 years. Currently, she resides in Kernersville, North Carolina, happily married to her husband James. In addition to spending time with her spouse, family and friends, Jones also loves attending church and interacting with people. She also enjoys writing, dancing, singing, gardening, exercising and volunteering.
