Gary Westgerdes the sailor returned to the LORD in 1980 and began sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with chick tracts. After an honorable discharge, he began challenging his home Counties Catholic community with the gospel of the cross through the local newspaper. With his VA benefits, in January 1986, he attended Ft. Wayne Bible College, which merged with Taylor University of Upland IN shortly after he graduated in 1992. He received a BA degree in Biblical Studies with minors in Pastoral Ministries and Christian Education. He has written and mailed gospel brochures and founded The Keys of Heaven Ministries.
