About the Authors
Annette Forrester is the voice behind this book and the mother to the Co-Author of this book. She is a resident of Charleston, South Carolina, by way of Estill South Carolina. Annette is the wife of 20 years to Alfonso Forrester. She is also a veteran with 12 years of service for the United States Army. Annette has also completed her Certification with University of Purdue Global in Health and Human Services. She did not stop there, she has also completed a Certification in Massage Therapy, with Miller Motte Technical College in North Charleston, South Carolina. Annette graduated from Miller Motte with honors of Summa Cum Laude. Annette has since went on to pursue her dreams of becoming an Author, giving way to her first book “Hidden” The Anatomy of Healing, being published in May of 2022. Annette is now partnering with her son to shine light on “Autism,” and its journey within our communities. Since, the writing of “Hidden,” she was featured in her local magazine “Charleston Women,” within their May/June edition. Now, with the journey of writing and becoming a best seller author, she is excited for what the future holds and endeavors for business.
About the Co-Author
Zylin Forrester is the son of Alfonso and Annette Forrester, of Estill, South Carolina. He was born in Vicenza, Italy by way of the Armed Forces. He was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder when he was four years of age in Hawaii. Zylin has also served his community by volunteering at CLM (Changed Life Ministries) in Moncks Corner South Carolina. Zylin is a High School graduate of Berkeley High School of Moncks Corner, South Carolina class of 2023. Zylin has been accepted within the L.I.F.E program at Clemson University for the fall of 2023. Zylin’s dream was to attend Clemson and their L.I.F.E (Learning Is for Everyone) program to gain access to a better way of life while living with Autism. This dream has since come true. Once He completes this program, he then looks to obtain a degree in Dental Hygiene and possibly Music Therapy. Zylin will continue to pursue whatever is next for him and his family, to ensure that he is a great asset to society.
