Life hardly (if ever) goes according to plan. But sometimes, the detours lead to the greatest blessings.
When Mary Elisabeth Denmon and her husband, Brandon, sold their home and prepared for a fresh start in Pennsylvania, they never imagined they'd soon be navigating life in an RV with no home-base. Faced with deceptive people and unmet expectations, they set out on a cross-country adventure that would test their faith and marriage.
With three dogs in tow and zero experience with RV living, the couple quickly learned the ins and outs of hookups, waste disposal, and the challenge of finding safe places to park. But the real lessons were about trust: trust in each other, trust in the Holy Spirit, and trust that when life takes an unexpected turn, peace can still be found along the way.
From Texas to New York and back again, The Princess and the RV is an inspiring memoir about embracing life's challenges, rediscovering purpose, and finding strength through faith. Whether you're navigating your own season of uncertainty or looking for a tale of resilience, this book is a reminder that even when the road gets rough, you're never really lost.

Mary Elisabeth Denmon was born in Austin, Texas, and raised in the historic town of Gonzales, best known for the phrase, “Come and Take It.” As a woman of faith, she prioritizes God, family, and friends in all she does. Mary Elisabeth graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in interior design, and she has a natural gift for creating spaces that bring joy and comfort. When she’s not traveling with her husband, Brandon, making memories with their children, or loving on her fur babies, you can find her in the kitchen, whipping up meals guided only by her “spicy intuition.”
