Next, the poet then introduces Bobbit the rabbit, returned from a far country with good hobbits. Next, the poet imagines a loyal and friendly dog, followed by a mysterious and aloof cat.
The poem then turns its attention to the bustling world of bees, evoking their tireless industry and delicate beauty. Finally, the poet conjures up the image of a majestic lion, who represents the raw power and majesty of the natural world.
Throughout the poem, the poet emphasizes the importance of using creative imagination to engage with the world around us and suggests that such imaginative play can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.
Jenith Lashley is a celebrated author and poet from Barbados who was inspired to write from a young age. After moving to the United States in pursuit of her writing dreams, she published her first book, Rhythm and Rhyme from the Moon and Cookie collection, and went on to release several other works.
