The title given to this book is “pretty much” descriptive of its content. This book redefines the period we call “the Church Age,” presenting a Biblically sound concept of Church from Genesis to The Revelation. This book is written in an informal teaching format to the student, whose heart cry is, “Shucks, … I just want to understand what I am reading.” This was written without theological jargons and the added complexity that comes with such. Jesus kept it simple, plain and down to earth. It causes me to smile when I think of the analogy Jesus used in reference to our gathering together to meet Him. He said, “For where so ever the carcass is, there will the eagles (vultures- literally) be gathered together. (Matt. 24:28) That was a very visually descriptive example.
Quency is married and has four kids. He loves Jesus and sometimes will display the silly side of his personality. Gardner committed his life to the Lord in 1976 and he began preaching in 1979 becoming licensed and ordained in 1980. He has enjoyed fellowshipping with major and minor denominations, independent organizations and all who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
