He felt he had them as soon as he learned they had free will. Lucifer, God’s fallen angel from heaven, desired to have the power of God: especially as he witnessed God’s creation of time, earth and people.
When the phrase “free will” was stated as part of the human’s gift from God, Lucifer believed he knew how to cause man to fall.
In the new, pro-life Christian novel by author Mark Gill, Molech’s Prey; Echoes from Eden, Lucifer tries to trip up the paths of four such individuals who come together in an abortion clinic: an abortion doctor, an abortion nurse, a young woman uncertain about aborting her pregnancy and the unborn child of her union with her married college professor.
This day marked a supernatural change in the lives of the four, as while the young woman, Sue, undergoes her abortion, her baby comes forth alive and healthy. Instructed by the doctor, Dr. Prentiss, to leave the child to die in a closet, nurse Violet decides to save the child and take it to a free pregnancy center for care.
Violet continues to feel promptings from God to adopt the baby girl as her own, and makes the decision to become her new mother. She never thought she would see Dr. Prentiss or Sue again, but twenty years later, God made this meeting happen.
Sue has become a giant in her architectural design profession, but has distanced herself from any type of romantic relationship due to her affair and abortion. Dr. Prentiss was once a doctor led by a demonic spirit guide named Molech for years, until God intervened and changed his views toward abortion, life and Jesus Christ.
Their reunions would cause each to face what occurred that day in the abortion clinic, but in ways only God could know, and Lucifer only wishes he knew.
