Her God-given passion to bring Christ focused community health care to women and children propelled Barb Hartwig into a life of adventure, but more importantly, a life of trusting God. Liberia was her first missionary nurse assignment. Due to civil instability, she transferred to Ghana where she pioneered a community health program for others to emulate. Those years of previous service enabled her to design and start a training program, in South Sudan, for clinic and community health workers plus traditional midwife training.
