Sam Burton abandoned his medical profession for a new career in journalism. DJ Denby Jr lived most of his formative and early professional life in Missouri. Having worked at the now retired Jefferson City Correctional Center, this location features prominently in this novel. He is blessed to have his wife Lea as his greatest support and love. Their four children continue to humbly surprise and astound them as they embrace this life. Without their support and patience, this final version would never have been completed.
