Lee Carson has been married to his wife, Velma, for sixty-four years with a son, Scott, daughter-in-law, Dee, daughter, Perian, two granddaughters, Haley Metzner and Megan Carson, and a grandson-in-law, Paul Metzner.
He is a retired vocational teacher, having taught for forty-five years, have been active in every church we have attended, and have taught Sunday school classes over the years in every age group. I now teach the Senior adult class in my church. For twenty years I used a week of my vacation each summer to serve as a camp counselor at church camp and taught in vacation bible school most years.
For the past eighteen years Lee has worked as a volunteer at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas helping families and friends of patients in the surgery waiting room.
During the past few years he has had a strong desire to write a book featuring what it was like to live in Judah and Galilee during the life of Jesus. It was published under the title of
