The belief has been that the church helps a person connect with God and understand sound truth from the Bible. But what if those teachings were wrong and misleading? Author Jeremy Nittler has found in over twenty-five years as a Christian that the ongoing separation in the Church might be due to the lack of biblical study within the Church. His new book, Why Your Church is Wrong: Exposing Idolatry and False Doctrine in the Church, is biblical revelations shared by Jeremy when he studied the Bible and found inconsistencies in church doctrine. He reflects on several topics relating to doctrine (salvation, faith in God vs. religion) while also seeing what the Scriptures say about turning your heart toward God and uncovering idols in your life. Jeremy encourages readers to study the Bible for themselves and have a living faith in Jesus that thrives on biblical application, not church doctrine.
