Memories of a Mississippi Farm Boy
Born and raised on a forty acre farm located in the red clay hills of central Mississippi, this country boy’s life sky rockets from his humble beginnings to the corporate world of one of the most prestigious companies in the United States.
Not all of his decisions were in sync with God’s plan for his life, but This Beautiful Thing Called Church always guided him back to God’s better plan. Only God’s unique plan could account for the country bumpkin landing the assignment as chauffeur for President Nixon’s hatchet man.
Keith is very straight-forward about telling us the times when his life and priorities were worldly and selfishly oriented, times that led him astray from his spiritual upbringing and close walk with God. However, he is quick to tell us how God intervened at the different junctures and events which he considered to be either bad or great accomplishments achieved. He lets us know that God kept reminding him of who he was and who is really in control of his life journey.
We see that his marriage covenant to his wife Kathy exemplifies obedience to God’s plan for marriage between a man and a woman.
