Her one and only son Chris passed away in a fatal car accident, and within seven years of her son’s death, her husband passed away to whom she was married fifty-seven years. But as she was struggling with these heartfelt losses, she didn’t turn away from the Lord. Rather, in her mourning and loneliness, she cried out to God and He spoke to her, instructing her to write.
Through her obedience, the Lord inspired her to write a poem. And, in turn, that poem blossomed into a book; thus, My God In Whom I Trust was born. Sandra Abrahamson does not have faith in “religion” but has faith in God. Through her faith, she has discovered she has a personal relationship with God and His Son, Jesus Christ. She prays that through her words in My God In Whom I Trust, the Holy Spirit will reach out to you.
I believe in and have a personal relationship with God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; and His Holy Spirit. I never had faith in "religion". I have loved playing piano for church services, choirs, ensembles and alone time; I love praying for those that are hurting, lonely, broken, and without the unconditional love that only God can give. I pray that His Holy Spirit will reach out to you through that which is written in "My God in Whom I Trust". He is wonderful, you know!
