In order to see the Silver Lining in any given situation, one must have Hope, Vision, Faith in God, Yourself, and others. Without Hope, life would be without purpose. Without Vision, no direction. Without Faith in God, no foundation for anything to be based upon.. Also, without Faith in Yourself, self doubt and self sabotage would be inevitable. Without Faith in others, one’s ability to love simply would fall short. At least, that has been my experience..
I designed my book “Seeing the Silver Lining” to be comparable to a few journal entries with pictures. That’s what it seems like when God gives me poems to write. The words just flow like journal entries. What does it really take to see God? Just a thoughtful look at His creation all around you. God is a Master Artist. In my pictures I show His creative hand in many different colors and shapes. Contrast is added in light and shadows. Of course, people are the crown of God’s creation. Some special people to me are my husband, Gary, three daughters: Lydia, Dawn, and Sarah. My siblings include: John Thomas, Peter Thomas (deceased), Heidi Alexander, and Jim Thomas.
