Suddenly, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and waves obey Him!”

Often, we can find ourselves lost in the wonder of what God is capable of. But, we can also at times lose track of what it means to be children of God. Many believe that if you walk with the Lord that you should not face trials, but this is not true; rather, you walk with the Lord through the trials. He can calm the raging storm in an instant, but sometimes we must face it with Him.
