That woman was my grandmother and that child became my mother. I learned fear from my mother at an early age. But God took me from a timid person and turned me into a SWASHBUCKLER!

Shar Thomas has been married to her high school sweetheart for 46 years. She is a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. Along with her family, she now lives on their family homestead in the Mojave Desert, along with their horses, goats, chickens, turkey, cats, dogs and loads of other wild critters that visit their oasis. She’s a retired certified childbirth educator and birth doula of 15 years, who’s practice was in Maryland. Writing has always been a passion since a young age. Being included in a documentary about Spirituality on Vice Television, was a highlight for her as she had the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel to a normally non-faith based audience.
