In Advancing Toward Eternity, the author conducts an exciting prophetic journey from Genesis to Revelation. As a conductor on a train might direct passengers' attention to important places, she points out major mileposts along the journey of prophecy. God's special covenants, the Law, and other significant events are noted. The reader travels past judges, kings, kingdoms, and prophets. Attention is directed to places of victory and places of defeat. The New Covenant is explained based on Old Testament prophecy, the words of Jesus, and teachings of the apostles. Then from the present into the future, signs of coming events such as the rapture of the church, the tribulation on earth, and the Second Coming are clarified. As the climactic conclusion comes into view, we see the triumphant exultation of Christ, Satan's doom, a new Jerusalem, a new heaven and earth, and the believer's eternity with God.
