With the death of his wife, Terry, after almost 49 years together, Pastor Michael Hall found himself devastated and grieving over his loss. In struggling to find his way out of the pain that hung over him like a dark cloud of sorrow, he started texting her phone daily. It seemed a little odd at first, but each day it slowly eased the pain. With each text, memories of their extraordinary love, and life together for so many years resurfaced in his mind. There would be tears and smiles almost every day. He wondered whether anyone would be interested in their life and his grief as an older person. But something impressed him to pull his thoughts together about this amazing woman he was married to and why he was grieving. He realized that his wife’s ability as a quiet unassuming person was powerful. She lived to sow love and build bridges with so many different people. She demonstrated to him daily, the possibilities of two people of devout faith showing love. It was clear to him that he had to share her legacy with others.
When she died in his arms, even after all those years, he was asking for more time with his beloved Terry. When you love someone, unconditionally for every day you are with them, time is never enough. That is mainly what this little book is about. It was also written to help those who are dealing with grief.
