The Book of Ruth tells a wonderful story of God’s provision for His people. In it, we see His provision for Ruth and Naomi. But as this new commentary by my friend Paula Oneal will reveal, behind the details of this story lies an even bigger story. For in His provision for Ruth, God was providing a king for Israel (David), and even more importantly, a Savior for His Church (Jesus Christ). Once again, Paula has done believers a great service in giving us a useful tool for understanding this marvelous story of God’s grace.
