Kathryn Rose Beggins was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She went to a Catholic elementary school and Irondale High School in Minnesota. After a year in Sweden, she went back to college, married, and had two boys. Now she has been blessed with three granddaughters. Kathryn (Kay) now enjoys life on a farm in Idaho writing Christian books.
