It is intriguing and exciting, full of interesting suggestions that will make everyone to change their common perception of the duty as “boring monotonous routines” to “joyful elevating memorable experiences of a lifetime”.
It also shares practical ways to stay positive and motivated as a parent or guardian and the author excellently explains the connection between a parent’s joy and that of a child. The author highlights the importance of a parent’s positive attitude in his or her child’s life.
More than ever before, it will awaken and provoke a new mindset which focuses on the greater good that will then motivate everyone to have fun with school runs. From the first chapter to the last chapter, it is refreshing as it encourages every school runner to joyfully set the pace today onward and determine to look forward to another day with joy in every condition.
The author has been particularly expressive about the positives in school visits, gleaning from her personal experiences. In her own words, she says, “ In this book, I wish to share the fun and joy in school runs and hope all parents and guardians can learn how to also find the joy in every experience of school runs”.
Mrs. Florence Oluwafunsho Ilumoka is a mother of three and a, happily married chartered accountant with a passion for childcare.
With over 20-year experience in her profession, she is an accomplished accountant who has worked with major multi-national corporations such as Costain West Africa, Seattle Ltd, Coffee Republic, Fresh Water Group of Companies, Transport for London and UPDC Ltd.
In the last 10 years, she has been particularly passionate about writing about school runs gleaning from her personal experience and activities inspired her to write a book about it.
