“Lost In Christianity-Dare Ask Why,” provides a “layman’s” perspective regarding today’s church and its “lukewarm” spirituality and subsequent neglect of the very people it is called to minister with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It analyzes the church’s insatiable desire for and “conceit of riches,” and the spiritual passivity and lethargy resulting from the resurrection of Pharisaic-like leadership within its ranks. As a result, the book reveals how today’s church fosters apathetic “pew-warmers” who believe self-service to the “ninety-nine,” in addition to the spiritual neglect of the “one,” is pleasing to God. The book encourages genuine believers to question the “religious norm” by utilizing the Scriptures and trusting the guidance of His Holy Spirit rather than the intuitive wisdom of men. We are continuously reminded, it is our salvation that is at stake, and we should diligently strive to “work it out with fear and trembling.” Believers are challenged to be intentional in seeking truth over the guise of religion with its rituals and formalities. Dare to “rock the boat” – dare to question – dare to “test the spirits” - dare ask “why!”
