The question of Oneness, the unification of the Christian Faith was the subject of my first book published in 2015. The present treatise dealing with the Unification of the Independent Orthodox Churches in the USA, proposes an alternative way to the OCL’s (Orthodox Christian Laity) proposal of “Orthodox Renewal” to accomplice unity.
Be one does not mean: A monolithic administration of all followers, “misallodoxia”, discrimination, and any deviation from the Holy Tradition. Be one means: First of all Unification with Christ, Closeness among the Orthodox Churches, Maintaining the common true faith, Respect the rights of all, and keeping the union with Christ. (I am the vine, you are the branches, if you abide in Me you bear much fruit John 15:5-8).
All Christians must remember that one day they will meet Christ and they will be judged. We are all accountable.
A true leader does not seek primacy, does not divide, does not promote his beliefs. A true leader respects the “Freedom of Voulisis” of each and every man. A true leader looks at the past, assesses the present, corrects as needed, and moves to the future always trusting Jesus. The desire for unity is a prerequisite that could result in the unity.
