as what David and his friends see comes straight from the Bible itself. Readers will also see David and his friends dealing with their own challenges as well, from family members with health issues and addictions to typical growing pains.
Author Susie Jacobson began this story as part of a blog she shared with her elementary school students during her former profession as a speech and language pathologist. Seeing the excitement the children had for the stories, and their desire for books that didn’t have vampires or wizards, Susie decided to trust God and follow His plan for these stories to be published.
The enjoyment in reading stories of the Bible comes from Susie’s own appreciation for reading God’s Word, which she hopes comes through in her books to encourage others to read the Bible and understand God’s love for them.

I was inspired by my Speech and Language students to publish my books. The first book I wrote in 2015 “The Faithful One!” was one of a series that my students begged me to publish. When I asked them if they wanted it as a novel they replied no a series like C.S. Lewis like Narnia. This second book The Birth of JESUS the adventure Continues! I wrote because whenI asked my students where they wanted to time travel in this second book they stated “we want to be there when JESUS is born.” HIS birth is a special event, something we should celebrate everyday, don’t you think Mrs. J? Yes it is something our whole world should celebrate daily. After all if it were not for JESUS we wouldn’t have gift of LIFE HE gave us as the Bible says in Psalm 139:13-16...
