This book was written to share my deepest passion in writing--my poetry. Ever since I was a little girl, poetry has been a passion of mine. It has helped me through depression and heartache, happy times or sad, and has given me an outlet whenever I needed to make sense of the world around me. As a teenager, I would sit by the pond or up on the mountain writing poetry. I would dream of my future husband, my future children or being a published author. I would think about what it would be like to be a published author living in New York or by the sea, writing to encourage others to be who they were made to be. Today, after many years, I am seeing a lifelong dream come true. Let this be an encouragement to others to never give up on their dreams, and if they are going to dream, dream big. God is a big ole God who never breaks a promise or gives up on us, and always moving us into a position of victory to achieve our highest dreams. May everyone who reads this book be inspired and be given a sense of enjoyment in life for the simple things.
Linda Z Clayton was born near Kittery, Maine in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Due to her father’s position in the United States Air Force, she moved to many different places experiencing different areas mostly in the United States. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she currently lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her husband, Charles. Linda was raised most of her life in the Appalachian Mountains in Eastern Kentucky, and has been writing poetry since the age of 11. She also enjoys writing Christian stories, stories of her childhood, and books to encourage self- development.
Linda is also a Certified Life Coach, along with her husband, Charles. They own the Be YOU!!! coaching business. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries/Counseling, and currently a Master’s degree in Christian Studies. Linda has made it a lifestyle expressing a life calling in helping other people find their unique and God given talents to become the best they can be in life.
