Morris reflects back on his life as a African-American young man being raised in Birmingham, Alabama during segregation and his migration to the North in search of a better career and opportunities He describes his journey and the challenges that he faced in his career, talking about the barriers he experienced as a Black amateur & pro golfer and the difficulties that came with being an Black real-estate agent in the 1960s-1970s. These stories tell of his endurance and stubborn perseverance in the face of adversity and how despite the obstacles, with the help of God and God’s many interventions, he was able to flourish!
