Carol Kitchin is a wife, mother, grandmother, nurse, and educator. She has been married to her husband, Lloyd, since 1981 and together they have four children and are currently blessed with nine grandchildren. She lives in the northwest section of New Jersey on Lake Hopatcong and has sailed competitively since she was 16 years old. She won the Thistle Women’s National Championship as a crew and has won many sailing titles over her career. She ran the Junior Sailing program at Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club for five years and is still actively sailing with her husband and occasionally with her children. She is a registered nurse who has worked for 40 years and was head nurse of Maternity. She currently teaches the maternity orientation, newborn classes, lamaze, and grand-parenting classes.
