A historical fiction novel, Marie of Aragon takes place in the year 1465: A young girl’s incredible adventurous journey on a spiritual quest through France, accompanied by her adoptive mother Nina, a distant relative and her adoptive Moorish brother Bazzu, acting as their protector. The story unfolds through the beautiful countryside, of the high mountains, prairies, villages, beautiful cities and churches. They meet and make many friends, among them the wise King, and encounter treacherous enemies, where their values, of love for truth, faithfulness and veneration to God and the Saints of the times, delivered a glorious victory every time. This is an amazing story full of love, charity and compassion but it also shows the ugly side of human nature, perverse cruelty and evil thinking, feeling and actions. A true must for the young in heart.
