This labor of love is about the Hymns and music of the church, how they have ministered to the needs of God’s people through the years, and how they have impacted my life personally. The Word of God set to music, the singing of the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. The soothing, healing power of God’s music has sustained me through every phase of my life. I share these experiences that they might bless the lives of others.
Jacqueline Chaney, known to most as “Jackie”, is a wife, mother and grandmother who loves Jesus with her whole her whole heart. Singing in the church for most of her life, Jackie is the Worship Leader and Choir Director of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where her brother, Reverend Wallace Hill, III is the Pastor. This first published writing project combines Jackie’s love of singing with her love of the written word. Jackie is a firm believer that with God, nothing shall be impossible.
