In order to do what the Bible says we have to put forth the same effort that we put into learning a new language, trade, or working on a relationship. You get to know a person’s characteristics, compatibility, and culture as you assess how to change your life to implement something new. In our relationship with God, the same intention is needed to stop our old ways.
For those struggling to do the right thing as Paul experienced, “For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice(Romans 7:19),” this inspiring book gives readers an interactive opportunity to solve this problem. Each Bible verse is dissected to find ways to overcome the struggle between desire and practice through daily exercises. There are books and research that guide prayers and understanding of biblical times. Following through in obedience takes work also.

"In This is How I Can, G. B. Glory has produced an enormously helpful book, one that offers to people who want to grow in their relationship to and understanding of Jesus and Bible practice in guided and concrete interaction with scripture. Using this guide will help people discover the patterns of their thought that are at odds with and complementary to their walk with Christ, while at the same time helping them recognize his presence in their lives in ways they haven't noticed. This is a practical, helpful, and hopeful resource."
– Chris Davidson, Associate Professor of English, Biola University.
