“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” St John 1:29. Our Loving Saviour willingly emptied his seat beside His Father in Heaven to come and renew the broken connection that humans had with our Heavenly Father. God chooses Mary, a young virgin lady, to accomplish this act of Love for us all; she is the mother of the Lamb of God.
Throughout Jesus’s ministry, He purposely chose many other ladies to be associated with his ministry because, in the time of creation, He Jesus helped in their design. So he knows what they are capable of accomplishing. We should appreciate the Samaritan woman as the first lady to go and bring souls to Jesus to be saved, St John 4:39-42, and we should also amplify all the many other ladies who were very devoted believers in Jesus. Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James, Mary, Martha, Joanna, Cleopas, and other dedicated ladies.
