The Rev. Dr. Patricia (Patsy) McGregor with her husband Todd devoted 30 years providing spiritual and humanitarian aid to needy communities in Madagascar, Kenya and Mauritius. Her experiences ranged from tea with the Queen of England to fellowship with a shaman in southern Madagascar. She co-founded health clinics, schools, women’s centers and churches that improved the lives of the people she served. Patsy pioneered the introduction of women clergy in Mauritius and the Diocese of Toliara, Madagascar. Currently she is Director of Spiritual Formation, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Stuart, Florida and continues to work closely with the nonprofit ministry People Reaching People co-founded with her husband.
