Covid19 brought the world to its knees. As one writer said, “Covid19 was not an interruption. It was a disruption.” We were challenged to change in every way. The way we work, shop, travel, communicate, and worship.
These new realities compelled Dr. Smith to read, study, and compile a series of inspirational and challenging messages from the Book of Hebrews. Specifically, chapter 11. The people are facing their own “disruptions” of their day.
How will they handle them? What will be the outcome? How can we learn from their example?
As the writer encourages them to maintain their wits about them and overcome the challenges, in The Pandemic: How My Faith Was Challenged, But Not Changed, Dr. Smith has eloquently developed several inspirational and challenging messages to encourage you.
The book asks and addresses several daunting and penetrating questions: “How has the pandemic tested your faith?” During the pandemic, what have you learned about yourself and God?” and How has the pandemic prepared you for the future?” as well as others.
