“Hank the Hiking Hound and Lessons from the Trail” is a compilation of short adventure stories starring Hank, a Plott Hound/Lab mix rescue dog, who loves to hike. It also features photographs taken along the hiking trail and relates the stories to practical and spiritual lessons. The Bible teaches us how to live daily. However, many of us neglect the daily study of God’s word. And one cannot live the life of God’s will in its fullness without studying Scripture. God can use each and every one of us in mighty ways. Sometimes, He uses tragedies to teach us and to bring us back when we stray. The lessons herein include a love for animals, an appreciation for nature and the outdoors, empathy about situations that can be hard to navigate, the value of friendship and loyalty, leadership, service, and the sharing of God’s Word.
