My Dad the Firefighter is a narrative about an African American firefighter as recounted through memoirs from his adoring son, Breyden. The book speaks to the day to day challenges his father faces as a firefighter while balancing the family. This is the first offering from the Hero Book Series, which highlights the real-life heroes that live outside of the spotlight.
