“The Tsunami of Grief” is a personal journey. I’m sharing my journey at a time when I experienced the early and raw beginnings of grief. This writing shares emotions and thoughts that I experienced when that tsunami wave hit. Some see it coming. Others are hit by surprise. Grief is personal and different for everyone, yet there is a sameness, linking us all together.
I want to encourage the reader to step through the journey with courage and with some expectation of fluctuating emotions that are a part of the grief experience. Many wonder what becoming one flesh means. The tsunami of grief removes all doubt. It is as if the right side of your heart is ripped out and you are bleeding all over the place.
There can be healing while looking back over the times that were beautiful with the one you loved; you remember that love. Grief is where love and sorrow meet.
The tsunami of grief will wane. You will regain your balance. Remember He walks with you through this dark time.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Cor. 12:9 ESV

Mr. Frank Bailey has served over 21 years in partnership with Indigenous Ministries. He is currently engaged in mission work in Asian and African countries.  He enjoys the richness of a personally told story and has gathered many stories and testimonies as he has listened to others in the ministry. These stories need to be told and are told in his book, “God’s Amazing Jars of Clay.”
In his recent writings of “Tsunami of Grief,” The author gives readers a glimpse of a personal loss in his own life, the home-going of his wife, the love of his life. He shares God’s sustaining strength as he faced the tsunami of grief.
Frank resides in Orlando and continues to write and maintain his connections to the missions’ ministry. His goal is to finish well, not stopping until he reaches the finish line. That is written in the Lord’s book. (Psalm 139)
