This is a compilation of the author’s reflections and writings during a time of anxiety and stress. These writings and reflections brought clarity in her life and drew her closer to God. Thinking about and writing about what God had done in the past illuminated her being, lifted her spirits, and pushed back the darkness of the time.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama; the seventh child of ten children. Moved to Brooklyn, New York where she married and began her career. Moved to Long Island, New York where she raised her three daughters and son. Received her undergraduate degree from New York Institute of Technology and her Master’s degree in education from Hofstra University. Taught elementary, junior and senior high school, adult education and college courses in New York, Maryland, Washington (DC), and Pennsylvania.
