Ashley Nicole Williams, born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (Ocean Springs, MS) is a Registered Nurse and business owner of Jesus and Gumbo. She currently resides in Maryland where she attends Truth, Righteousness, and Love Ministries in Temple Hills, Maryland and serves on the Public Relations and Praise Team Ministries. She began Jesus and Gumbo in July 2019 when she restructured her blog to focus on her love for Jesus and southern cooking specifically Gumbo! She opened her Christian Apparel business Jesus and Gumbo Apparel during the pandemic in October 2020 where she creates divine apparel worn to share the Gospel of Jesus and personal testimonies! She decided to turn her blog posts into a 21 day devotional to continue her mission of the feeding and nourishment of souls by sharing her stories with others! She believes that what makes her and others “G.U.M.B.O.”(God + U (You) + Me = Blessing Others) is transparency and authenticity—-especially in a generation that wants less talking and more walking! She believes God has purposed her to be true to herself and live out her favorite scripture Proverbs 3:5-6 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart , and do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and he will make your paths straight!”
