“When you have truly accepted My love into your heart, you will love and value the you I’ve created.”
“My beautiful, beloved child. There is no one like you. You are My masterpiece of love. I sculpted you in the most delicate way, with perfect touches, and your own unique character.”
These are just a few of thousands of messages God gave Lisa Rickard, to reveal to the world through this devotional, “Love Letters from Abba.” Lisa has used her intimacy with God to share something with all of God’s people, which will inspire, enrich, and enliven them to seek His love in all their affairs, daily. Rich in His Word, Lisa has added Scripture verses which correlate beautifully with the theme of the daily message. Expressing faith like a child, in simple terms, this vast buffet of God’s delights will leave you understanding your blessed value in God’s universe. You will change for the better as you recognize yourself in these passages. And you will feel God speaking profoundly to your own heart. As you sample these pages all about love from “Abba,” your Creator, King, and Friend, you will wonder how you ever lived without them.
Lisa Rickard grew up in Shingle Springs, California. As a girl, she loved to ride her horse, named Star, along the hills. At age 19, Lisa married her high school sweetheart, who then passed away in a tragic lake accident. They were married 20 years, and had one beautiful daughter. Lisa re-married, and now enjoys spending time with her husband (also widowed), her daughter, stepson and family. During her life, Lisa has been involved in various Christian service positions. She has partaken in street ministry in San Francisco, and with her local church in Pacifica, California. Lisa was a president for “Women Aglow,” a women’s ministry. She has worked with autistic children. Lisa has enjoyed doing health seminars with her mom; she has owned several health food stores, and is extremely passionate about fitness and nutrition. She loves hiking, animals (has four cats and a dog currently), and as a nutrition nut, she loves to cook. Lisa still lives on the West Coast, enjoying time with her loved ones, and has taken to full-time writing. Lisa enjoys sharing Abba’s love letters on Facebook, where she interacts with her readers every day.
