Kathy Hoffman was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, with her six brothers. She has a BS in Mathematics and enjoyed a 28-year career as an engineer with the Bonneville Power Administration. She later volunteered as a math tutor, and then went on to sell and service insurance policies with husband in his Vancouver, Washington, State Farm Agency … but her passion is, and has always been, laughter.
