Do you have a short story the world needs to hear? Maybe it’s the preface to why you became a writer in the first place. Or, maybe it’s a glimpse into a book you’ve already written but haven’t taken the plunge to publish yet.

The Christian Writers Awards is a writing contest hosted by Xulon Press to acknowledge and inspire writers to take a leap of creative faith and share their story. The contest is open to all genres and no previous writing experience is required – it’s just you and the story you’d like to share!

Contest entrants may enter as many times as they’d like, but entries must be 4,000 characters or less including spaces (approximately 700 to 750 words).

The first place grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and a press release announcing their win to the media. The second place winner will receive $500, and the third place winner will receive $250.
